Born in Zurich, Switzerland, in 1956

Evelyne Maager is a swiss artist whose work bridges the precision of her medical background with the expressive depth of fine art.

She studied Medecine at the University of Zurich and Brown University in Providence USA and pursued a successful career as a pediatrician before dedicating herself fully to the arts.

Alongside her medical career, Maager studied sculpture and painting in Zurich, Basel and Peccia, continuously refining her artistic skills. She regularly attends life drawing sessions at the renowned Academy de la Grande Chaumière in Paris, deepening her understanding of the human form and movement.

Since transitioning from medicine to art Maager has held several solo and group exhibitions in Switzerland and abroad. Her artistic focus lies in oil painting and watercolor, where she explores the subtle interplay of light, form and emotion. She is a graduate of the esteemed Milan Art Institute, which further honed her technique and artistic voice.

Since 2012 Evelyne Maager has found deep inspiration and a second home in Greece. She now lives and works between Switzerland and Greece, where her surroundings profoundly influence the themes and atmosphere of her work.
